      On July 2, the Minister of agriculture of the Stavropol Region Vladimir Sitnikov visited Neftekumsky city district and Levokumsky municipal district. In the Stavropol region Australian technology for a new selection will be used.
 The head of the Agrarian Department got acquainted with LLC "Stavropol farmer", in which in September this year it is planned to build a new feedlot for breeding and keeping livestock in Neftekumsky city district with an area of 30 hectares. To date, the design and estimate documentation for the reconstruction of objects is being prepared. It is planned to contain 25 thousand heads of breeding stock.       
As told to the Minister of agriculture of the Stavropol territory, to date, the company has renegotiated the contract for the supply of electricity and water. The issue of gasification is at the stage of signing contracts.
Vladimir Sitnikov during the trip discussed the selling of lamb in the city district. The question of how much the population can sell products was solved. The planned purchase price is just above the market – 290 rubles.
Also the head of the Ministry traveled went to "Ovtsevod" farm of Levokumsky municipal district. The farm has almost 100 thousand hectares of land, 95 thousand hectares of pastures and 5 thousand hectares of arable land.
       The project "Damate" in the region involves the construction of the largest to date in Russia complex for the production of lamb. The processing capacity of the facility is 700 thousand heads per year. The cost is 2 billion rubles. It is planned to create more than 400 new jobs.
