Stavropol Farmer
    On October 25, 2017 Director General of the National Association of sheep breeders Mikhail Egorov held talks with the representatives of LLC "Stavropol farmer", Director General of the company L. I. Khanukaev and financial director A. S. Kalinichev.
They discussed the construction of a meat plant for slaughtering and processing in Stavropol region. It is planned that the company will purchase from agricultural producers not only young but also culled sheep.
    "Stavropol farmer" also intends to breed sheep. According to Mikhail Egorov, it’s necessary to focus on the domestic breeds and the gene pool, currently available in Russia.
   The first stage of the meat processing plant will be ready by the summer of 2018, that is, by the sales season of young sheep. According to the parties, the project must be mutually beneficial for both its owners and agricultural producers of Stavropol Region and neighboring regions.
Halal Export
     The Dagestan "Kizlyar Uritsky meat plant" will begin to export halal meat to Iran in the coming days.
Basically, the plant will supply the lamb. The export will initially be 800 sheep a day, although the demand of the Iranian side is much higher — up to 2-3 thousand. In this regard, in the first half of next year it is planned to increase the supply of the products.
    On the implementation of the project it has been allocated more than 1 billion rubles.
   On the basis of the production of feed pellets from alfalfa mass, resource base to increase production of sausage products, production of new types of smoked sausages, canned meat was created. Currently, a milk processing plant with a capacity of five tons per day and a workshop for production of smoked sausages for five thousand tons, as well as slaughterhouse technology "Halal" are running at the enterprise.
    Delivery to Iran will be one of the first cases of Dagestan producers working on the markets of the neighbouring Islamic countries.

    On October 24 the first Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dzhambulat Hatuov and the Vice-Minister of Agriculture of Russia Igor Kuzin took part in an expanded meeting of the State Duma Committee of the control and Regulation "On the distribution of the Federal budget funds for state support of agriculture among the regions of the Russian Federation in 2017". "One of the major focuses of the Ministry of Agriculture is the efficient allocation and use of funds of state support for the development of agriculture. The Ministry together with the regions and concerned departments are constantly improving this mechanism, identifies priority areas and develops necessary normative-legal base", - said Dzhambulat Hatuov.
   Igor Kuzin was talking about the mechanisms of distribution of state funds to the regions this year. The Deputy Minister outlined the main principles and features of the distribution of funds, as well as measures of application of raising factors of the state support.
"Every year, the total amount of state support of agriculture increases, allowing producers to feel confidence in the future" - said Igor Kuzin.
   One of the main innovations of state support is a "single subsidy", he thinks. Now the regions can promptly distribute funds and this increases the effectiveness of budget support. Thirty-nine billion rubles have been provided for these activities in 2017.
The deputies of the State Duma recommended improving the efficiency and transparency of the funds allocation, taking into account resources, climatic conditions, land, livestock, etc.
